Aretha Franklin has given Adele major Respect with her newly released cover of the singer's hit song, Rolling in the Deep.
The feisty rendition has wowed fans of both singers. Franklin stomps her personality all over the Adele cover, even incorporating the chorus from Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s classic Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.
The release is part of her new Diva Classics tribute album which sees her cover Adele, Etta James, Alicia Keys and the Supremes.
The cover is the first single from the 72-year-old's new album which will be released on October 21st.
Other hit songs covered include Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive, Sinead O’Connor’s Nothing Compares 2 U and I’m Every Woman, Chaka Khan.
