The podcast comes in response to growing concerns about relationship health among young people in Ireland.
According to data from the Too Into You relationship quiz, taken by over 19,900 people in 2024, many young people are questioning whether their relationships are truly healthy.
With statistics showing that 1-in-5 young women in Ireland experience abuse from a current or former partner, the need for open and supportive conversations has never been more urgent.
"Too Into You is more than just a podcast - it’s a space for real conversations about love, respect, and safety," Mary Hayes, Project Coordinator for Too Into You, said.
"We want to empower young people with the knowledge and tools they need to recognise red flags and celebrate the signs of a truly healthy relationship.
"Our goal is to create a safer, more informed future where love lifts you up instead of holding you back."
Each episode will explore topics like coercive control, emotional abuse, and the foundations of respectful love.
The series features discussions with relationship experts, as well as real-life experiences from well-known personalities, including content creator Keelin Moncrieff and survivor Jody Duggan, who share their personal journeys to educate and inspire listeners.
Jody Duggan hopes her story will help others identify warning signs early on. "Being part of the Too Into You podcast has given me a platform to share my experience," she said.
"I want young women to know that love should empower you, not confine you. If my story helps just one person recognise when someone is ‘too into you,’ then it’s worth sharing."
The podcast is a key part of Women’s Aid’s wider Too Into You Project, a national initiative focused on educating young people about the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships.
Listeners are encouraged to visit the website, a dedicated resource where they can learn more about setting boundaries, spotting red flags, and seeking support.
The launch of the podcast coincides with the start of Women’s Aid’s four-week Too Into You campaign, running from February 13th to International Women’s Day on March 8th.
This initiative aims to raise awareness about relationship abuse and ensure young people know where to find help.
"Our early relationships shape us profoundly, and we believe every young person deserves to experience love that is safe, respectful, and fulfilling," Hayes added.
"With one in five young women facing abuse before the age of 25, there is still so much work to be done.
“Through this podcast, we hope to equip young people with the tools to recognise unhealthy behaviours, seek support, and promote healthier alternatives to jealousy, control, and manipulation. We encourage everyone to listen, share, and start these vital conversations."
The Too Into You Podcast is available now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other major streaming platforms.
Women’s Aid urges people to tune in, spread the word, and be part of a movement that champions safe and respectful relationships.
