Nicola Coughlan has spoken out about the mass starvation in Gaza.
She expressed her horror at the inhumane situation as Israel continues the blockade of the area.
According to reports, hundreds are dying from starvation, including babies in the few remaining hospitals left.
The Gaza health ministry has confirmed that 10 people died of starvation on Tuesday. This means over 111 people have died from hunger.
Irish actress Nicola Coughlan has spoken out in a bid to raise essential funds, but also to call on the British government to act before any more lives are lost.
She promised to match donations to Medical Aid for Palestinians up to £10,000.
Speaking on Instagram, the actress urged her followers to help by donating to Medical Aid for Palestinians.
“I, like many of you, am completely horrified by the images coming out of Gaza, watching innocent children being starved to death, and people being starved to death,” she said.
“The government here in the UK, Keir Starmer, is doing nothing about it, ignoring it, acting like it’s not happening. There’s just a level of inhumanity in this situation which I have never witnessed the like in my life,” she added.
"I will get the ball rolling, and I will match donations to Medical Aid for Palestinians for up to £10,000. So, please donate and share because I’ve never witnessed anything more horrific in my life."
Coughlan has been incredibly vocal about the genocide and has vowed to keep speaking out for the people of Palestine.
“As an Irish person, I grew up learning about the occupation of my own country… Killing of innocent people is never right,” she said.
