One Direction are set for an unexpected reunion for a “multi-million pound” Netflix project.
It has been reported that One Direction stars Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson have reunited to film a Netflix road trip show.
Fans are convinced that filming for the new Netflix show has already started, as the pair have been spotted together earlier this month.
The documentary will see Zayn and Louis travel across the US.
A TV source told The Sun: "This will be an absolutely huge show for Netflix and is guaranteed to whip 1D’s global army of fans into a frenzy.
"Although the idea of British boyband members doing a show about travelling across America sounds random, most of them now have strong links Stateside.
"And it’s likely to be a chance for some serious soul-searching and deep discussions about the incredible journey the group has already been on since they were formed on The X Factor 15 years ago."
It is believed that during their travels across the US, Louis and Zayn will chat about their personal lives, but also reminisce on their time in the boy band, as well as open up about the death of their bandmate Liam Payne.
Liam Payne tragically died on October 16th last year after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Earlier this month, Louis and Zayn were seen for the first time in ten years following the band's split and their viral Twitter brawl.
In 2015, both of them engaged in a heated Twitter feud shortly after Zayn had left One Direction to pursue his solo career.
However, Louis and Zayn squashed whatever beef the two had ahead of late bandmate Liam Payne's funeral last year.
The anticipated Netflix show is expected to debut 10 years after the band announced their split.
