A one-year-old boy has tragically died after a freak accident in Leeds.
According to reports, the infant fell from the window of a seventh-floor flat.
The accident happened on Saturday, July 2nd.
The boy fell from the window shortly after 1pm in the afternoon. Emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident and then transported the boy to a nearby hospital.
However, despite their best efforts, the boy died a short while after arriving at the hospital. West Yorkshire Police are now investigating the accident.
They're treating the incident as a "sudden unexpected death in childhood".
The ambulance service contacted the police at 1.25pm on July 2nd.
Police confirmed the boy fell from a flat in Saville Green in Leeds.
"The one-year-old boy was taken to hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead a short time later."

An investigation is now underway and police are making inquiries.
