The sun is coming out of hiding (for now) and our work days are stretching into evenings with beer gardens. There's even the promise of whipping out a summer dress.  With better weather and the hint of a girly break on the cards, we can’t help but dig out the wellies and plan a trip to one of our favourite Irish festivals. Well, it sounds like an investment to us. It's time to pull out the floaty dresses and pack your rucksack. This weekend trip is all about sending out the good vibes… Indiependence So you can't always guarantee the sun is going to shine, but us girls love a good splash in the mud. The Sky Cat Laughs Comedy Festival We all know nobody or nothing is as funny as our friends’ in-jokes, but it’s hard not to love a festival dedicated to giving us a giggle with the best entertainers in town. Probably worth mentioning now, that if you’re the friend with the bad laugh, NO-ONE will want to sit beside you. Too much ammunition for audience participation… Castlepalooza For the creative friends boasting budding artists, filmmakers or lovers of dance, this little boutique festival offers the musical punch with smaller numbers. Grab the girls and munch on some popcorn through the short film festival, swing your hips en masse in a dance workshop or saunter along to the music stage. Facepaint is always a friend of our gang… Electric Picnic No line-up is complete without a mention of the Stradbally magic. From food, to literary tents, dance music to the main stage, we’ve never heard a person regret their three day stint. How can you make it even better? A group of your best friends and a tent full of memories. Just don’t forget a spare toilet roll, you’ll be EVERYONE’s best friend down the toilet blocks.
