Paris Jackson has rejected a news story claiming that she attempted suicide yesterday.

Gossip site TMZ reported that the daughter of the late Michael Jackson had been hospitalised after an incident at her home, citing a source close to the 20-year-old.

She responded to the story in a tweet yesterday, calling the website’s writers “liars”.

TMZ has doubled down on its report, insisting that its sources are correct.

A Los Angeles police official confirmed to the Daily Mail that officers did respond to a suicide incident but did not provide any more details.

Paris was spotted out in LA yesterday evening with her boyfriend Gabriel Glenn.

The couple went to KFC before going to the cinema.

Paris and her brother Michael are the children singer Jackson and his second wife, nurse Debbie Rowe.

She was 11 at the time of her father’s death in 2009.

Paris and Michael Jr were raised solely by their dad, who got full custody of them after he and Rowe divorced in 1999.

In 2017, she signed a contract with IMG Models. She has worked with brands including Rag & Bone and Calvin Klein and has appeared on the cover of Vogue Brazil, Italian Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar in Spain.
