Primark have urged customers not to shop online for their products via third party sites.
The low-cost retail giant, that operates all Penneys stores across Ireland, said that although a lot of their stock has recently appeared online on Amazon, customers should not purchase it.
According to them, many of the products are being sold for higher prices online.
"We do not have a commercial partnership with Amazon and any Primark products which appear on the site are being re-sold by third parties, at higher prices," they said in a statement via Twitter.
"We encourage our customers to visit us in our stores to find the best value."

This comes after reports that Penneys and Primark were finally available to buy via Amazon.
However, it now appears that the products are being sold by a third party and have no affiliation with the brand.
The retailer has never operated an online store in its 50 years of trading.
Penneys was founded by Arthur Ryan in Dublin in 1969. The retailer now trades from 373 stores across 12 countries.
