PIC: DCU Student Patrick Halpin Remembered With Minute Silence At Croke Park

DCU student Patrick Halpin was remembered this evening in Croke Park, as the stadium stood for a minute’s silence in honour of the teenager who died in London during the week.

Patrick’s club side Kilnadeema-Leitrim were playing Rower Inistioge in the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Final at the GAA Headquarters.

Tribute: Players stand for minute’s silence.

After a social media campaign was launched to find the 18-year-old, Patrick’s body was sadly discovered just off Leicester Square in English capital on Thursday night.

The student was on a trip to London with the Dublin City University’s drama society.
