Prince Andrew accuses Virginia Giuffre of “wilfully” recruiting girls for Epstein

Prince Andrew has filed a new document.

Prince Andrew has accused Virginia Giuffre of “wilfully” recruiting young girls to be trafficked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Giuffre, who is currently taking legal action against Prince Andrew, has accused the Duke of York of sexually abusing her when she was a teenager.

The prince has “categorically denied” the accusations on multiple occasions, previously stating that he did not recall ever meeting Giuffre on the night of the alleged abuse in 2001.

In a new document entitled ‘Giuffre’s role in Epstein’s criminal enterprise,’ Prince Andrew accuses Guiffre of “wilful recruitment and trafficking of young girls for sexual abuse.”

According to The Sunday Times, the reports states: “It is a striking feature of this case that while lurid allegations are made against Prince Andrew by Giuffre, the only party to this claim whose conduct has involved the wilful recruitment and trafficking of young girls for sexual abuse is Giuffre herself, including while she was an adult.”

Prince Andrew’s team also claim that Guiffre’s accusations are “baseless” and that “sensationalism and innuendo have prevailed over the truth.”

They also accuse her of taking legal action to “achieve another payday at his expense and at the expense of those closest to him.”

Guiffre’s team has since told the Telegraph: “On the subject of money, let’s be clear: the only party to this litigation using money to his benefit is Prince Andrew.

“If Virginia Giuffre had stood silent in the face of outrageous statements like those Prince Andrew routinely churns out — his motion to dismiss the litigation being no exception — the decades-long sex-trafficking ring his friend Jeffrey Epstein operated and he participated in would have never been exposed.”

Prince Andrew stepped away from royal duties following an interview on BBC Newsnight in which he claimed that he believed the infamous photo of himself, Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell in 2001 could have been “doctored” and that on the night of the allegations he was at a Pizza Express in Woking.

In the highly criticised interview, the prince also stated that he couldn’t have been “profusely sweating” on the night as Giuffre claimed, because he allegedly hasn’t sweat since the Falklands war.

“I didn’t sweat at the time because I had suffered what I would describe as an overdose of adrenalin in the Falklands War when I was shot at,” he said. “It was almost impossible for me to sweat.”

The Metropolitan Police recently stated that they would be taking no further action against Prince Andrew following a review.
