He’s here!

The introductions happened a lot quicker for baby number three as just moments ago Kate Middleton and Prince William left the Lindo Wing with their new baby boy.

In the last hour, William had arrived back at the hospital with Prince George and Princess Charlotte to introduce them to their new brother, and now the world is getting the same opportunity.

News outlets were reporting in the last half hour that we would see Kate before the day was out, however, we don’t think anyone imagined it would happen so quickly.

Kensington Palace also tweeted the first picture of the newborn Prince with his proud parents.

The picture was posted just moments ago with the adorable caption, “Welcome to the family.”

“Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank all staff at the hospital for the care and treatment they have received,” read a statement released by Kensington Palace on Twitter.

“They would also like to thank everyone for their warm wishes.”

It was announced earlier today that Duchess Kate had given birth to a baby boy.

Kensington Palace shared a sweet announcement on behalf of the couple, which said:

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.

“The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
