Wait, WHAT?

A number of unconfirmed puma sightings have been reported in Fountainstown, Crosshaven and Togher in Co. Cork.

I know, bonkers.

And while there have been no official sightings as of yet, Gardai are saying the reports are “too credible to ignore.”

The Cork Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CSPCA) has received a number of reports of puma sightings in the last two weeks.

Yeah, it sounds a bit mad, but not beyond the realm of possibility apparently.

The reports describe an animal that is the size of a Labrador, but with a much longer tail and cat like features.

The CSPCA has set up a number of live traps and trail cameras along the area the sightings have been reported.

A puma, also known as a cougar, has been described as a “large mountain cat” that holds the potential to be dangerous if cornered.

So if you do see one, keep walking hun.
