Take note.

Financial technology company Revolut has warned users to be wary of fraudsters contacting people pretending to be working for Revolut.

The scammers pretend to be Revolut support agents and attempt to get users to share their SMS login codes to gain access to their accounts.

Revolut warned users that their platform is app only and they will never ask you to enter your SMS or PIN codes on a website.

They also urged users to report any suspicious behaviour to their support team via the app.

“We’ve been made aware of some cases whereby fraudsters are pretending to be Revolut support agents and asking customers to share their SMS login codes in order to gain access to their account,” Revolut said in a statement.

“Our personal product is app only and we will never ask you to enter the SMS confirmation code or your PIN code on a website.

“Revolut will never ask for your SMS or PIN code. If you ever encounter suspicious behaviour like this, please contact our support team, via the app chat.”
