“My heart is broken”
Riverdale star Luke Perry passed away today, following a massive stroke.
Luke suffered a stroke in his home last Wednesday evening and was rushed to hospital where he then passed away on Monday morning, March 4.
According to his rep: “Luke was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends.”
The 52-year-old was known for playing Fred Andrews in The CW’s Riverdale as well as portraying Dylan McKay in Beverly Hills 90210.
Today, friends, family and fans across the world are taking to social media to pay their respects for the star, one of those being his close friend and co-star in Riverdale, Molly Ringwald.
Sharing her heartbreak, the star wrote…
My heart is broken. I will miss you so much Luke Perry. Sending all my love to your family. ❤️ #LukePerry

Also joining in on the tributes was Ian Ziering, who played Steve Sanders with Perry on Beverly Hills, 90210 – tweeting a mournful note, he wrote:

When the news broke that Luke suffered from a stroke, many other co-stars too shared their prayers for the star including Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse who wrote:
“Love you bud”.
