The French ATC strike action is causing havoc.

Ryanair have announced that they’ve cancelled even more flights due to the French ATC strike that has been occurring this weekend.

The airline have contacted every single affected passenger via email and text message.

They confirmed the news about the latest cancellations on Sunday morning.

Their full statement reads: “Due to yet another French ATC strike, Ryanair regrets to inform customers that it has been forced to cancel a number of flights on Saturday and Sunday (23 & 24 June). All affected customers have been contacted by email and text message and advised of their options: a full refund, rebooking on to the next available flight or transferring to an alternative flight.”

It continues: “As a result of this unjustified strike action, we also expect delays to flights to/from/over France and we advise customers due to travel on Saturday & Sunday to check the status of their flight on the Ryanair.com website”

If you’re flying with the airline, you can check the status of your own flight here.

Dublin Airport also shared a similar message which said: “A French air traffic control strike is scheduled to take place from 05.30 today until 05.30 Mon 25 June.  A number of European flights to/from Dublin Airport have been cancelled. Passengers are advised to check latest flight info with their airline before coming to airport.”

Essentially, if you’re flying today, it’s best to check with your own individual airline with regards to the status of your flight, especially if the flight is over French airspace.
