But if you do want to know how to master the perfect flick, here are our top tips:

• A gel liner and slanted brush are the best tools for flicks.
• Holding your eyelid slightly taut, keep the brush as close to your lashes as possible and drag the line out, following your lash line.
• By keeping your lid taut, you’ll automatically point the flick upwards, therefore avoiding it going straight or downwards.
