Significant breakthroughs have been reported in Luas negotiations

There have been reports this afternoon that there has been a breakthrough in the Luas dispute as non-driver grade employees are said to be close to a deal with Luas parent company Transdev.

According to RTÉ, significant progress has been made and the three grades could be in a position to vote on the new proposals on Monday next.

“Revenue protection officers, revenue protection supervisors and traffic supervisors have been engaged in talks with the company on a potential resolution.”

However, drivers are not due to meet management until Monday.
