Simone Biles is breaking more records.

Simone Biles can add another championship to her name, bagging her seventh national title.

After her second session of the 2021 US Gymnastics Championships, the Olympian proved her skills once again with a 119.650 total, making it her seventh national all-around title.

The 24 year old has now broken the tie she used to hold with Clara Schroth-Lomady.

Winning by almost five points, with the 2019 Worlds team gold medalist Sunisa Lee coming in second. The 2018 Pacific Rim Championships team, vault, and floor champion Jordan Chiles came in third place.

She said after her big win: “It’s really emotional especially going into my second time doing an Olympic run.”

“It’s really crazy, and I appreciate everyone that’s come out to watch and support us especially after the year we’ve had.”

And this isn’t the last we’ll see of Simone competing this year, she’ll be heading to the Olympic trials where the top two all-rounders automatically make the team, and then on to Japan.

While Simone didn’t show off her Yurchenko double pike vault that she debuted at the GK US Classic a few weeks ago, but here she did show off a billy goat on her leotard to represent her being the “greatest of all time.”

In an interview with Marie-Claire, Biles said that the goat represents the term “Greatest of all time”, a phrase that is regularly used to describe athletes of her calibre.

“The idea was to hit back at the haters,” she said. “I didn’t feel like it was necessarily fair how they could keep saying whatever they wanted, but then if I said something, it wasn’t fair.”

She added that her critics mocked her and suggested she put a goat on her leotard.

“And then I was like, ‘That’s actually a good idea. Let’s make the haters hate it and the fans love it.'”
