A six-year-old boy has died after a car accident in a Kilkenny housing estate.
The accident happened at around 6:30pm last night in the Lintown Hall estate, which is located on the outskirts of Kilkenny.
Emergency services were called and the boy was immediately rushed to St.Luke’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A post-mortem is due to take place today.
According to the Irish Mirror, the car was driven by a woman in her 40s who was uninjured in the crash.
