Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel has finally spoken out about the update we all HATE

Great.....

Yes, it really is a cruel world.

One of our most loved apps took a turn for the worst in the past two weeks when it got a horrific update that has left us both confused and downright angry.

Mixing in stories with our messages and pushing people we don’t even follow, the new update is basically one big giant mess and now CEO of Snapchat Evan Spiegel has finally spoken out about the new update and guess what…

He doesn’t give a sh*t that you hate it so basically tough luck.

In a talk at Goldman Sachs’s Internet and Technology conference in San Francisco, Evan explained how he gets that everyone hates the update but he’s actually really happy with the reaction.

He said: “We’re excited about what we’re seeing so far, the best part is that even some of the complaints we’re seeing reinforce the philosophy [behind the design].”

Continuing he said…

“One of the complaints we got was ‘Aww…I used to feel like this celebrity was my friend, and now they don’t feel like my friend anymore,’ and we’re like, ‘Exactly. They’re not your friend.'”

How delightful.

He then spoke a little by saying that the revamp was to make a better distinction between Snapchat’s private communication section and the public communication platform. Well we don’t know what you did but we don’t like it.

Suppose we will have to suck it up and move on eh?
