"The snowfall has ceased in most areas, however on the Wicklow Mts further accumulations will occur today. Elsewhere any snow will turn to sleet & rain later this morning. "In the afternoon the rain could turn heavy in the E & S, giving a risk of local flooding due to melting snow," says the weather forecaster. "The rain will spread northwards this afternoon and this will lead to some snow melt, with a risk of localised flooding later.
