Following this week’s €5.7 million Lotto win, there was no doubt a lot of people who were hoping to see their numbers come up in tonight’s draw.

And, thankfully, the numbers have finally come in.

The digits in the main draw were 7, 21, 22, 29, 31 and 46 with the bonus of 11.

Although nobody actually won the jackpot, 38,000 people did win other prizes – the biggest being the Match 5 prize of €2,684.

The winning numbers in the Lotto Plus One, which had a jackpot of €1,000,000 – were 17, 19, 28, 29, 32, 42 and the bonus of 37.

Again, though, nobody won the top prize.

Thankfully, Lotto fans were a lot luckier in the Lotto Plus 2 – or, well, someone was.

The winning numbers were 3, 6, 19, 21, 35, 43 and the bonus was 11 – and one lucky player scooped up the top prize of €250,000.

According to the National Lottery, the winning ticket was sold in the south of the country…although they haven’t specified just where.

The news comes as one lucky Lotto player scooped up just over €5.7 million in Wednesday night’s draw.

The National Lottery have revealed that the winner purchased their ticket at the Spar Express on Rathfarnham Road in South Dublin.

It is not clear if the numbers were specifically chosen or whether it was a quick pick ticket.

But shop owner Ken O’Connor said that the staff were “buzzing with excitement” over the win.

He continued:

“We simply can’t believe it! This is our first big Lotto win and staff and customers are buzzing with excitement.

“We are on a lucky run as we recently sold a Scratch Card that won a customer €25,000. But this is amazing, we are hoping it is somebody local but we are a busy shop with a lot of passing traffic so we don’t know.”
