Details of which categories have been assigned to each judge for the reality TV show ‘The X Factor’ have leaked, through a source who claims to be working on the show.

‘Take That’ singer Gary Barlow is said to be mentoring the ‘Overs’ contestants for his second season on the show. Traditionally this group has been for singers over 25 years of age, but there have been rumours that this age will now be pushed out to over 28’s, with singers up to age 28 entering the ‘Boys’ or ‘Girls’ category.

‘Westlife’ manager Louis Walsh will take on the ‘Groups’ category once more, perhaps hoping to find a new Jedward?

Last year’s winning judge Tulisa will mentor the girls this year, while new judge Nicole Scherzinger will take care of the boys.
