Spruce up the CV… Dublin Aerospace has announced 150 new jobs

Dublin Aerospace, Ireland’s largest independent aircraft maintenance provider, has announced that it will be creating 150 new jobs over the next three years.

Michael Tyrrell, Dublin Aerospace CEO said: “This quarter we have just hired the first 48 of 150 additional team members with a variety of skill sets including aircraft engineers, avionics technicians, structures & composite techs, painters and aircraft operatives.

“17 of these positions were taken up by graduates of the Dublin Aerospace Apprenticeship & Trainee Programmes. We offer five types of such Programmes in conjunction with SOLAS, the Irish National Training Agency, with over 100 young men and women currently in training.

“In 2017/18 we expect to hire approximately 35 graduates from our apprenticeship and trainee programmes.

“I am pleased to announce that we will have two more intakes of similar size in 2018 and 2019, creating 150 more jobs in total.”
