Because that’s a thing that people do, apparently.

Starbucks have very politely asked people to stop watching porn in their coffee shops by announcing a tool that will ban the explicit sites from their WiFi networks.

The worldwide chain have been facing external pressure for years to introduce blocks on pornographic, adult, and illegal content from their networks in the US.

The likes of McDonald’s have already introduced content filters for their WiFi across the States to stop people from watching porn in their restaurants.

Business Insider reports that from next year, Starbucks will introduce similar measures.

The company told the publication that they have finally found a way to stop customers from access explicit content while enjoying a coffee.

In a statement, they said:

“To ensure the Third Place remains safe and welcoming to all, we have identified a solution to prevent this content from being viewed within our stores and we will begin introducing it to our US locations in 2019.”

While watching porn is already banned in Starbucks stores, the firm had no way of actually stopping people from accessing these sites on their network.

The ban will roll out in US Starbucks coffee shops from next year.
