If the weather system predicted for Sunday does materialise, then it will be named Storm Callum but this has not yet been confirmed. The system bringing heavy rain to southern counties at present has been called #StormBronagh by UK Met Office as it will bring heavy rain and strong winds to Wales and England. pic.twitter.com/QOOmslF4f0

Having a look at the weekend's forecast from Met Éireann, we're looking at "widespread rain for a time with some strong winds possible". This is because a "low tracks close to or over Ireland" although again it's too early to say whether this will result in Storm Callum or not. In short, it's worth keeping a close eye on the official Met Éireann forecast over the next few days. At present, there's a weather warning in place for seven counties, perhaps a sign of what's to come. Now that the UK Met Office have named #StormBronagh for Today if the system on Sunday does materialize and reaches naming levels it will be #StormCallum pic.twitter.com/sYCCPMZaoZ
