It’s going to be another gorgeous weekend with temperatures of up to 22 degrees

Cathy Donohue

Met Éireann has predicted another weekend of gorgeous sunshine.

That basically means an excuse to get the BBW on, head to the beach, eat ice cream and take part in all the fun sunny weather activities.

However, it seems we’ll be saying goodbye to the sunshine after the weekend as the weather is due to take a turn on Monday.

The humidity has been intense this week but the glorious mornings and picturesque evenings have more than made up for smelly offices and sweaty faces.

You can take a detailed look at the Met Éireann forecast here but the long and short of it is that tomorrow will be gorgeous in most parts of the country.

This will turn to cloud tomorrow night with rain likely on Sunday through to the early days of next week.

Here’s what you can expect today with sunny spells continuing into tomorrow.

Saturday – dry with sunny spells although expect the odd scattered shower. Top temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees and warmest in the eastern half of the country.

Sunday – some sunshine but cloud will increase from the southwest later in the day.

Monday – outbreaks of rain in the the south and southeast, isolated showers elsewhere.

Tuesday – breezy with scattered showers and sunny spells.

Despite the rain, it’s going to be pretty warm overall so good luck trying to figure out what you’re meant to wear on any given morning…
