Suspected explosive devices were discovered in Moneen, Castlebar earlier today.
Gardaí were forced to evacuate a number of businesses in the area after discovering the devices at around 11am this morning.
According to The Mayo News, army disposal experts have now removed the suspicious devices from waste ground which adjoins An Sportlann and MacHale Park.
It is thought that the area was declared safe at around 2pm today when the items were taken away for analysis.
