A teenage girl has sadly passed away following a road crash in Donegal over last week's Bank Holiday weekend.
The 17 year old suffered life threatening injuries after the crash which occurred on Sunday, May 1.
The single car collision happened at around 9.15pm at Meenformal near Glen, Carraig Airt.
She was transported to Letterkenny University Hospital with serious injuries before being moved to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where she died last night.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward, especially those who were travelling in the area at that time who may have video footage, including dash cam.
