The news broke today that a 64-year-old Irish man had been found dead with a single stab wound in his holiday apartment in the popular Turkish resort of Bodrum.
He has now been named by The Sunday World as John Edward Donnelly from Dublin, who was discovered when neighbours spotted a bloodied knife outside his apartment.
Donnelly had been holidaying in the result for the last three weeks.
His body was found at 2pm local time on Friday, and Turkish police are launching a murder investigation.
