The Lovely Adele Has a Bun In The Oven!

We are delighted to hear that Adele is up the duff!

The Someone Like You singer took to her blog on Friday evening to share the good news with her fans.

"Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," Adele said.

"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."

In January, the singer revealed that she was dating Simon Konecki, Chief Executive of UK Charity Drop4Drop.

Although Konecki has a daughter from a previous relationship this is Adele’s first pregnancy and we are so excited for her.

The couple received many congratulations on social networking website, Twitter throughout the weekend.

American chat show host Ellen DeGeneres tweeted: “Adele is pregnant! I’m so happy, I’m rolling in the deep! At least I think I am. I’m still not 100% sure what it means.”

Lily Allen, who gave birth to her first baby Ethel in 2011 tweeted: “Wow. Adele’s preggers! Congratumalations to her and Simon!”

The Multi Grammy Award Winning singer is best known for her sensational album 21 which took the music world by storm in 2011. The album is filled to the brim with emotional ballads inspired by a bad relationship with a former boyfriend.

We think that a lovely baby would be the perfect inspiration for some euphoric tunes and after all the heartache that went into 21 we are absolutely thrilled for her. We can't wait to catch a glimpse of this lucky tot!
