The Stuff of Nightmares – Meet Lemonhead, the Candy Mascot Aimed at Children

The Lemonhead candy brand just introduced a new mascot for their confectionery aimed at children – and it’s pretty terrifying. The brand tweeted the first introduction of Lemonhead with a rather simple message:

  The creepy, smiling lemon-head child with roving eyes which was unleashed on Twitter has since been spotted around Chicago with updates to his Facebook page. From supporting the local sports games, to taking in the city’s streets, the images unfortunately get more sinister as they go on. We’ll let you judge for yourself, but we’re pretty sure this is the fastest way to teach kids not to take candy from strangers.
