There’s a new yoga class coming to Dublin (and it is NOT for sissies)

Katie Mythen-Lynch

If you like to get high on life, the latest lesson on offer in Dublin will take you to new extremes.

Limited edition outdoor yoga classes will be held 17 storeys above the city on the Croke Park rooftop walkway the Etihad Skyline next month. And no… this is not a late April fools prank.

Starting on Saturday, May 13 the sky-high sessions on Dublin’s highest open viewing platform are not for sissies: the Skyline has an overhang (*shudder) right over the famous pitch, so it’s definitely one for thrill seekers.

The classes, which will run every Saturday at 10am for four weeks, will be led by instructor Aisling Conn of yogaru.ie, who has been practicing yoga for close to 20 years.

The sessions will be intimate, with no more than 15 participants, and will last approximately one hour and 15 minutes. They are suitable for all levels (over 18s only) and promise to leave you feeling centred and revitalised… although probably not grounded.

The Etihad Skyline Yoga classes cost €25 euro per session, including a juice afterwards.
