Prince William and Kate have welcomed their second child this morning, it has been confirmed.
Kensington Palace has announced that Kate gave birth to a baby daughter at 8.34am and both are said to be doing well.
The baby’s name will be announced “in due course”, with bookmakers listing Alice, Charlotte and Victoria as the most likely choices.
