People are being urged to check their tickets.

Although they might not know it yet, two lotto players from Dublin are €330,000 and €250,000 richer since Wednesday night.

The midweek Lotto jackpot worth €3.8 million wasn’t won, but two punters have scooped six figure prizes.

Lotto chiefs confirmed that one of the winning tickets, a Quick Pick, was sold in Gaskins Centra Store in Glasnevin on Tuesday.

The other player picked up their golden ticket in Dunnes Stores in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre on Tuesday.

The all important winning numbers of the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize worth €330,000 were: 8, 14, 28, 29, 35, 44 and 30.

And, the winning Lotto Plus 2 numbers worth €250,000 were: 11, 18, 20, 28, 30, 38. The bonus number was 47.

Unfortunately, there was no winner of the Lotto Plus 1 top prize worth €500,000 but two more lucky people did win a nice amount of €5,000 each.

The two big wins this week come after it was revealed the cost of lotto tickets will increase again next month.

At the moment, the price of a two line ticket with Lotto Plus is €5. This will rise to €6 in September.

Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws will also increase from 50c to €1 when the changes ring in on Saturday, September 1st.
