The Luas strikes were due to happen on Thursday and Friday.

The drivers of Dublin’s tram system were due to strike this week.

The strikes were set to take place for four hours on Thursday 26th May and all day on Friday 27th May but they’ve now been called off.

Both SIPTU and the official Luas Twitter accounts confirmed the news this morning:

Last week, the Luas drivers confirmed more strikes in June, and should they go ahead, the days and times affected will be:

2nd of June – no service from 3pm – 7pm.

3rd, 7th and 8th of June – no service from 9am – 1pm

9th and 10th of June – no service from 3pm – 7pm.
