“He’s the most genuine and kind person I know.”

Meghan Markle’s father has been targeted by a criminal at his home in Mexico, it’s been claimed.

Thomas, 74, received death threats and had his tyres slashed after hiding a neighbour from her ex-boyfriend.

Lori Davis and her 11-year-old daughter Jocelyn turned to Thomas after meeting him in the gated community where they live in Rosarito Beach, close to the border with the US.

Thomas has grown close with Lori and Jocelyn,” she told The Mail on Sunday.

“He’s been a rock for me and my daughter and I’m sorry he’s been dragged into this violent and abusive situation.

“My daughter calls Tom ‘Uncle’. He’s the most genuine and kind person I know and the most stable male figure my daughter has ever known.”

Lori has claimed that her ex-boyfriend of eight years Jose Sandoval has tried to kill her and her daughter multiple times.

Jose previously spent time in prison for entering the US illegally.

In a recent police report, Lori wrote that he had choked her.

“He spat on my face… he goes to my uncle’s house and tells him that he is going to kill him because he is constantly hiding me and threatens and insults him,” the report reads.
