A baby boy had died after the car attack in Australia on Friday. He had been undergoing treatment for his injuries in hospital after the deadly attack but sadly passed away last night.
That means there two children are now among the five people who died in the business district of Melbourne when a car speed down the footpath crashing into pedestrians.
37 others were injured during the incident and five others are in critical condition in hospital.
A 26-year-old man, who is the chief suspect, remains in hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
A memorial has been set up outside the mall beside Bourke Street for people to pay their respects to the families of those involved in the attacks.
Those who died include a 10-year-old girl, a 25-year-old man, a 33-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman and the three-month-old baby who died late last night.
A special meeting of the Victorian Government is taking place today in response to the tragedy.
Police there are hopeful they will be able to interview the suspect and charge him later this weekend. It is believed they tried unsuccessfully to stop him a number of times during the attack.
