It's been a hot few weeks, lads. And thank god for that. Pubs are closed but our back gardens are not. Cafés are take out only but listen, it's grand. Shops are all but shut but the parks are swarming with folk hanging out and, more importantly, getting their tan on. We are not living through a normal Irish summer, but hey, at least it's hot outside. And this week is set to get even hotter as temperatures are set to creep up as high as the mid 20s! In May! In Ireland! Would you be well?! According to Met Éireann, this Thursday May 28 is set to be the hottest day of the year so far as temperatures hit highs of 25 degrees in some parts of the country. Wednesday will also see scorching highs of between 20 and 24 degrees and, unsurprisingly, today (Tuesday) will also be fairly divine with temperatures only dropping as low at 17 degrees in some parts of the country. Thankfully, the good weather is set to continue on into the bank holiday weekend too, with most counties seeing high of at least 20 degrees for most of the weekend. There's a chance of slight drizzle along coastal counties, but other than that we're golden. Just stick your sun cream on, yeah?
