‘Tis the season: The Arnotts Christmas Shop is open – and it is giving us all the festive feels

Only 84 days to go!

This has been the strangest of years, but finally, we are here, on the home stretch, and ahead of us is, thank God, the most wonderful time of the year. And boy, are we so ready for Christmas this year – I think I am speaking for all of us when I say that in 2020, we need the comfort and cosy and joy of Christmas more than we ever have before.

And so we are leaning in hard to this year’s festive season – and are especially excited right now, as Arnotts have just launched their legendary Christmas Shop in-store – and trust us when we say this: it is pure Christmas magic.

The Arnotts Christmas Shop is located in a dedicated space on Second Level and features traditional and brand new festive favourites from berry adorned frosted door wreaths to beautiful themed Christmas decorations, as well as a selection of sustainable handmade crackers for the environmentally conscious dinner table.

“The Christmas Shop at Arnotts is undoubtedly a family tradition that has been enjoyed for generations,” Rachel Morgans, Arnotts Buying Director, said at yesterday’s launch. “We are so excited to introduce a unique and delightful offering of decorations sourced from across the globe that will ensure this Christmas is one for your family to remember.”

This year the decadent offering of decorations includes the feminine ‘Fresh Blossom’ collection, comprised of blush tones and blooming burgundies with accents of lilac and eucalyptus.

The traditional ‘Christmas Cheer’ collection is a sentimental palette of luxe reds and gilded golds, whilst peacock shades, opulent luscious velvets and embellished baubles form statement tree ornaments in the ‘Mardis Gras’ trend. Royal reds and forest green baubles make up the ‘Carnival’ trend and unique playful decorations make the perfect gift, from the ‘Oh What Fun’ collection.

Oh, and we love how this year’s Christmas Shop features a selection of ‘true to life’ trees, a collection of artificial Christmas trees developed with actual branch cuttings from trees found in nature, making them some of the most realistic trees on the market.

The Christmas Shop will also offer a range of winter-themed wreaths and garlands to complement the tree selection.
