A child has been found dead in Scotland.
The two-year-old child was reported missing at 11.15am on Sunday morning near Perthshire.
According to METRO, the child was last seen at a property near Bridge of Cally in the Perthshire area where a search was for the child was announced.
The Scottish police and the Scottish Fire and Rescue service were involved in the search for the missing child but it was at 12.35pm that he was found in the river.
Paramedics treated the little boy as he was rescued from the water however he was pronounced as dead.
Police in Scotland released the statement:
“Tragically, the boy did not survive.
‘His family are being supported by officers at this time.”
