A toddler has been rushed to hospital after falling from an apartment.
The boy, who is believed to be around three-years-old, fell from the third floor of an apartment block in Longford.
The incident took place at 10:50 this morning in the apartment block located on the Athlone Road in Longford Town.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly afterward and he was brought to Mullingar’s Midland Regional Hospital for treatment. He was then transferred to Temple Street Hospital in Dublin.
He is in a serious condition.
Gardaí are investigating the incident.
