Fans were really worried..

Boxer, Tommy Fury and One Direction star, Liam Payne shocked fans when they posted a photo of them face to face alluding to them announcing a boxing match.

They may have broken the internet for a while as fans were in utter shock at the post and were really worried for the safety of singer Liam Payne, considering he’s never boxed in his life and Fury is on his way to being professional.

The post that has since been deleted, gave nothing away and was simply captioned with an eye emoji.

People were very confused in the comments but thankfully, it’s all been cleared up.

Fury (23) and Payne (29) will battle it out on the soccer pitch instead of the boxing ring as they join this year’s Soccer Aid, which takes place in June to raise money for UNICEF.

Tommy is of Irish Traveller and Mauritian descent so he will be playing on the Soccer Aid World XI team.

Liam will be playing on the England team.

The England side includes a number of big stars including the I’m A Celebrity Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott who will be captain of the team.

Paddy McGuinness, Jermain Defoe, Karen Carney, Gary Cahill, Jack Wilshere, Bugzy Malone and Tom Grennan will be on the team.

Sir Mo Farah, Alex Brooker, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Chunkz, Joel Corry, Eniola Aluko, David James, Scarlette Douglas and Nicky Butt will also play.

The charity football match is set to take place on Sunday, June 11 at Old Trafford, Manchester.

Well, we’re just grateful Liam Payne isn’t fighting Tommy Fury anytime soon.
