

Heartbreaking tributes have been flooding in after the death of a young Dublin firefighter.
David Stafford, from East Wall in north Dublin, was a 'well-liked and well thought of' member of Dublin Fire Brigade.
According to his death notice shared by his family, the father-of-two passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, September 25.
The young man is survived by his beloved partner Steph, children Blake and Quinn, his father Gerry, sister Mandy, brothers Philip and Stephen, and grandmother Sheila.
He will be sadly missed by his extended family, colleagues, and wide circle of friends.
David joined Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) in 2019 as an Emergency Services Controller before transitioning to Recruit Firefighter / Paramedic in 2022.
He has held an exemplary record in DFB, leaving a lasting impression on his colleagues.
DFB have paid tribute to their colleague after his sudden death, with colleagues commending his dedication and professionalism while on duty.
In a statement on social media, a spokesperson for the DFB wrote: "All at Dublin Fire Brigade are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague and friend David Stafford, Badge 750.
"Dave joined Dublin Fire Brigade as an Emergency Service Controller and worked his way to Firefighter/Paramedic.
"Based in North Strand, David was an exceptionally well-liked and well thought of young man and Firefighter/Paramedic, in every aspect of his life and work, he held an exemplary record in DFB.
"He will be sorely missed by all, especially his crew in North Strand."
Comments on the post saw tributes for the young man pouring in, many labelling him 'a lovely young man with a great love for the job'.
"RIP to an absolute gent I'm sending all my prayers and strength to his family friends and colleagues at this devastating time," wrote one user.
Another said: "It was a pleasure to work with you Dave, we shared an ambulance duty on a few occasions. You did your job calmly, with no fuss and you did it well.
"My sincere condolences C Watch North Strand & to your family."
David's body will be reposing at his home from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, September 29.
Removal to the Church of St Joseph’s Church, East Wall will take place on Tuesday morning for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by Burial in New Balgriffin Cemetery.
