Tributes have been paid to a Wexford woman who died in an incident involving a car in the Dominican Republic.
Claire Cullen was described as "being the heartbeat of two families".
Claire, from Gorey, is believed to have been in the Dominican Republic to attend a wedding when the incident happened.
According to a spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, it was aware of the case and is providing consular assistance, per RTE.
People close to Claire have described her as being an accomplished hairdresser with her own home salon called Eden Hair Design.
Ronan Cullen, Claire's husband, paid tribute to his wife on Facebook, writing: "My beautiful wife Claire was tragically killed in an accident. We're all devastated and trying to come to terms with it. She was my everything, and I adored everything about her."
Ms Cullen's brother, Paul O'Brien, wrote: "She was the heartbeat of two families. She wasn't just loved, she was needed. The whole community will be lost without her."
