Two 10-year-old pupils are said to have tried to poison their teacher by putting bleach into her coffee.
According to reports today, the two boys poured a bleach-like liquid into Emma Place’s flask when she wasn’t looking. Another student told her not to drink the beverage.
A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police told The Sun newspaper that neither Ms Place nor Clapham Terrace Community Primacy School, Leamington Spa, are pressing charges but the boys have been disciplined.
They added: “The evidence was taken away by police but we were guided by the school that it was an isolated incident that got out of hand... I don’t think the pupils realised the seriousness or severity of the situation”.
