Two Irish nationals have been arrested following the alleged assault of a man in Australia.
The 21-year-old and 24-year-old men were charged with grievous bodily harm after a 66-year-old man was found seriously injured on a road in the Sydney suburb of Summer Hill.
The man is in critical condition.
Yahoo News reports that the two Irish men were arrested on Saturday and formally denied bail.
They are due to appear before the court on January 9.
