Gardaí arrested a teenager in relation to the crime.
Wicklow Gardaí recovered various gold jewellery from an abandoned car on Friday night.
The driver of the stolen car failed to stop for Gardaí and the car was later found abandoned in Wicklow town.
During a follow up search as part of Op Thor a teenager was arrested.
Gold jewellery including bracelets, watches and rings were found in the car as well as a large jar of coins.
The investigation is ongoing.
