Later in the day, she insisted that she felt much better as she left the apartment of her daughter Chelsea.
Hillary Clinton appeared to faint as she left a 9/11 commemoration event in New York City on Sunday.
The 68-year-old candidate for the U.S. Presidency had to be bundled into her car and brought to the apartment of her daughter Chelsea.
She later cited ‘feeling overheated’ as the reason for this episode.

It is not the first time her health has been called into question.
In 2012 she underwent treatment for a blood clot, while her rival Donald Trump has called her wellbeing into question on a number of occasions.
Last month, Clinton’s personal doctor Lisa Bardack said that she was “in excellent health and fit to serve as president of the United States.”
