Amos the bunny caused great worry when he went missing from Great Beginnings Childcare and Pre School in Rogue River, Oregon earlier this month.
However, thanks to Ralph Rowden, Amos was soon reunited with his worried charges, according to news outlet KOBI.
"We missed him so much! Somebody taked him," Ella Bale, a 3-year-old preschooler at Great Beginnings, told the outlet.
Ralph found Amos in a cardboard box near a rubbish bin by the town's local library. Having heard the bunny was missing from the classroom, Ralph was quick to return him, making the children very happy.
His good deed was rewarded with a small sum of cash and a thank you note from the children. While he was grateful for the cash, it was the thank you card which touched Ralph, as it was the first thank you letter he had ever received.
